This wasn't what I expected, Good or Bad?
Comfortable beds ensured restful nights with no external noise disturbing my peace. The cleaning team was friendly was nice.
Too often there was confusion with the keyless entry instructions, leading to unnecessary stress upon arrival. The shower pressure was disappointing, impacting my overall experience.

Recommend it for solo travelers
The location is perfect for anyone coming in by train you can walk to the station in minutes. The room was surprisingly spacious and tidy I actually felt quite at home in the beautifully set up space.
It wasn't exactly cheap but for what you get it's still acceptable.

Truly enjoyed this place, it was quiet little. The setting was unbeatable, not far from the Cambridge train station, bus stops and the Botanical Gardens. There was Chicken Cottage nearby to grab something to eat.

The room was smaller than advertised and had an unpleasant odor from tobacco that lingered throughout the stay. Wifi was unreliable, complicating connectivity during the visit. Water pressure for the shower was inadequate, resulting in a below-average experience. The lack of flexibility regarding check-in time added unnecessary stress, especially having to wait outside for 30 minutes before being allowed in.

The first time I made a booking through the website, I did not get a confirmation and assumed something went wrong. Six days later I booked anew, this time I received confirmation. A week before the day I was supposed to arrive to the hotel, I received sms with the entry code. I had not even looked into details that there are two codes. On the day of my arrival I received another sms with 2 codes, upon which I sent an sms back to the owner, saying I have not booked two rooms but one. She insisted that I had booked 2, and even when she saw that I have not received any confirmation for the first unsuccessful booking, she blamed me for having misspelled my email (thus no confirmation received- by email or mobile phone). I was then contacted by several sms-es to be told how it is my mistake. The owner is obviously not aware of laws or how to communicate with customers. Still I have not been reimbursed for the second room. I find this incorrect and illegal. This is not really a hotel, no reception, no possibility to leave the luggage, entry with code, no elevator, no breakfast (a yogurt in the fridge and apple and musli bar does not count as breakfast to my knowledge). The room was spacious and clean, nicely furnished.

easy strolls to museums and local cafes nearby
the hotel's great location made it only a 20-minute walk to the beautiful Fitzwilliam Museum and I really enjoyed the nearby local cafes like Caffe Nero just a few steps away, perfect for grabbing a coffee before my city strolls.

The location really stood out, just a short walk from the train station. Easy access to cafes and restaurants made it convenient for grabbing meals. The room had a nice size with a small fridge and desk. Thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee and tea. Unfortunately, the heat in the room was overwhelming even with a fan. It became uncomfortable during the night, affecting my sleep despite the otherwise comfortable bed. The soundproofing wasn't great, as I could hear noise from the hall and upstairs. The stay had its bright spots but could significantly improve with better temperature control and sound insulation.

A quiet hotel just minutes from the railway station and a 15-minute walk to the city centre. The room had a nice modern interior and came with a fan to keep cool. The easy check-in and check-out made it even better.
the overall experience could improve with better soundproofing.
